The greatest pro about this digital storytelling technology was how fun it was to put together. It really is remarkable that our story could go from words/script on a page and turn in to a movie that had voices, changing scenes, and awesome music. It would have been really fun to have found some way to make our drawings move, so there could be more moving action in the movie. Now that I think about it, there were some rhyming parts in the video where it was hard for me to hear the rhyme . . . you would have to have students listen very carefully. It might have been a good idea to have emphasized the rhyming words a little more.
As a group we all contributed to the creation of the story, but I would have liked to have had some more experience with the actual technology part. I'm not sure if it would have been possible to have everyone in our group do something in fiddling around with the techno part of the movie, but I know I could have used more exposure to the "technology part" of putting the movie together. I did want to say, "Super selection of songs" to our master musician- it was magnificent!
